VFAF Endorses Army Veteran Ron Eller for Mississippi's 2nd Congressional District
MISSISSIPPI — Veterans for America First (VFAF) is proud to announce its endorsement of Ron Eller for election to the United States House of Representatives in Mississippi's 2nd Congressional District.
Ron Eller has dedicated his life to serving America, first in uniform and later through an accomplished career in healthcare. His lifelong commitment to service, leadership, and caring for others reflects the values that Veterans for America First seeks in candidates who will represent the American people in Congress.
A United States Army veteran and retired Captain Combat Medic (91B), Eller distinguished himself through exceptional military service. During his Army career, he was selected as Soldier of the Year for the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), United States Army Forces Command (FORSCOM), and Fort Benning, Georgia—an extraordinary achievement recognizing his professionalism, leadership, and dedication to mission accomplishment.
Following his military service, Eller continued answering the call by building an outstanding career in medicine. As a civilian, he served as Chief Surgical Physician Assistant, Chief Perfusionist, and Clinical Manager, overseeing all aspects of open-heart, thoracic, and vascular surgery. His responsibilities included surgical first assistance, pre-operative and post-operative intensive care, patient admissions and discharge, history and physical examinations, cell salvage, intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) management, ventricular assist devices (VADs), and cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) for adult cardiac surgery.
