TEXAS — October 17, 2026 — Veterans for America First (VFAF), also known as Veterans for Trump, was invited to deliver remarks at a campaign event for Texas Attorney General and U.S. Senate candidate Ken Paxton in Killeen, Texas.
Adam Schoof, the organization's Executive Legislative Director for Police and First Responders in Texas, represented Veterans for America First at the event after receiving a personal invitation from Paxton to address attendees.
Schoof, a United States Army veteran and longtime law enforcement professional, spoke about the importance of constitutional leadership, protecting individual freedoms, supporting America's veterans and law enforcement officers, and advancing the America First agenda.
During his appearance, Schoof also highlighted the organization's support for Paxton's U.S. Senate campaign, reinforcing the endorsement previously announced by Veterans for America First.
The invitation provided an opportunity for VFAF to participate directly in a major Texas political campaign event and communicate its priorities to supporters, campaign representatives and community members.
Schoof previously served as a military police officer with the United States Army's 227th Military Police Detachment at Fort Drum, New York. Following his military service, he built a law enforcement career spanning approximately 16 years, including service with the City of Fulshear, Texas.
His participation at the Paxton campaign event reflects Veterans for America First's continuing efforts to expand its political outreach in Texas, strengthen relationships with elected officials and candidates, and elevate the voices of veterans, police officers and first responders in the political process.
The organization continues to engage in political events, candidate endorsements and grassroots activities throughout the 2026 election cycle.
