VFAF Endorsement of Ken Paxton for U.S. Senate in Texas

Veterans for America First Endorses Ken Paxton for U.S. Senate in Texas

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: October 18, 2026 TEXAS — Veterans for America First (VFAF), also known as Veterans for Trump, proudly announces its endorsement of Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton in his campaign for the United States Senate. The endorsement was formally presented by Adam Schoof, the organization's Executive Legislative Director for Police and First Responders in Texas, during a campaign event at which Paxton personally invited Schoof to deliver remarks. Schoof, a United States Army veteran, longtime law enforcement professional and public servant, represented Veterans for America First in announcing the organization's support for Paxton's Senate candidacy.

During his remarks, Schoof emphasized the importance of defending the United States Constitution, protecting individual freedoms, supporting America's veterans and law enforcement officers, and advancing policies that put the American people first. The endorsement reflects VFAF's support for candidates who demonstrate a commitment to constitutional principles, national security, border enforcement, public safety and the America First agenda.

As Texas Attorney General, Paxton has established a national profile through legal challenges involving federal authority, immigration enforcement, election laws and constitutional issues. His candidacy for the United States Senate represents an effort to bring that experience to the federal legislative arena. Schoof's participation in the endorsement announcement also highlighted the organization's growing involvement in Texas politics and its efforts to strengthen relationships among veterans, law enforcement professionals, first responders and elected officials.

Prior to his leadership role with VFAF, Schoof served in the United States Army as a military police officer assigned to the 227th Military Police Detachment at Fort Drum, New York. He subsequently built a law enforcement career spanning approximately 16 years, including service with the City of Fulshear, Texas. His combined military, law enforcement and public service experience informs his work advocating for veterans, police officers, first responders and their families. Veterans for America First reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Ken Paxton's campaign and continuing its political outreach throughout Texas as the 2026 election cycle progresses. About
