NORTH CAROLINA — Veterans For America First (VFAF) proudly announces its endorsement of Amber Eades Crouch for District Court Judge serving Burke, Catawba, and Caldwell Counties.
“Amber Eades Crouch’s dedication to justice, her proven courtroom leadership, and her unwavering commitment to veterans set her apart,” said Lori Fowler, Operations Director, N.C. State Chapter, Veterans For America First, and VFAF National Ambassador. “Her work with Veterans Treatment Court reflects a judge’s mindset—holding people accountable while ensuring veterans can access the resources, structure, and support needed to rebuild their lives. VFAF is backing Amber because she combines strong work ethic, real compassion, and a record of service to our communities.”
Crouch brings extensive district court experience and a career grounded in public service. A 2007 graduate of Newton-Conover High School, she was the first in her father’s family to earn a high school diploma. She went on to earn a double major in Mathematics and Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (2012) and graduated from North Carolina Central University School of Law (2015) before beginning her legal career serving the region.
From 2015 to 2018, Crouch practiced as an Associate Attorney, gaining experience across district court matters including criminal appointments, traffic matters, estate planning and administration, real estate closings, family law issues, and protective orders, as well as supporting adoption case preparation.
In 2018, she became an Assistant District Attorney, where she handled criminal district court and broadened her trial experience across Juvenile Court, misdemeanor appeals, treatment courts, and traffic court. As District Court Supervisor, she trained new assistant district attorneys—demonstrating leadership and steady judgment in high-volume courtroom settings.
In 2022, Crouch founded Amber M. Eades, PLLC, providing legal representation in criminal, traffic, juvenile, and treatment court cases. In 2025, she partnered with Ally Mashburn to form The Law Office of Crouch and Mashburn, further expanding their commitment to community-focused legal service.
VFAF highlighted Crouch’s hands-on support of Veterans Treatment Court as a key reason for the endorsement—work aimed at helping veterans navigate the justice system, connect with services, and pursue better long-term outcomes.
