Veterans for America First Endorses Steve Radack for Harris County Commissioner, Precinct 4
HOUSTON, TEXAS — Veterans for America First (VFAF) has announced its endorsement of Steve Radack for Harris County Commissioner, Precinct 4, in the 2026 general election.
Radack brings decades of experience in law enforcement and Harris County government. He began his public-service career with the Houston Police Department, where he served for 11 years and rose to the rank of sergeant. He was elected Harris County Precinct 5 Constable in 1984 and subsequently served 32 years as Harris County Commissioner for Precinct 3.
His experience has encompassed law enforcement, county budgeting, infrastructure, transportation, parks and other responsibilities of county government. The office Radack is now seeking participates in setting county policy and budgets and overseeing infrastructure and public services, including roads and drainage.

Carmen Cavazos, United States Marine Corps veteran and VFAF National Ambassador, said the organization views public safety, infrastructure, emergency preparedness and fiscal responsibility as central issues in the race.

Radack is running for Harris County Commissioner, Precinct 4, in the November 3, 2026 general election. The Harris County Republican Party lists Radack as its candidate for the office, and official primary results show he was unopposed for the Republican nomination.
