TEXAS — Veterans for America First (VFAF) Texas today announced a significant expansion of its leadership bench with the appointments of Andrew “Andy” Valadez as National Ambassador and the recognition of Justin Schiro in a key grassroots leadership role, strengthening the organization’s mission across Texas under the direction of Kimberly Taiko Moyers, United States Navy Veteran, VFAF National Ambassador, and Texas State Chapter Vice President.
These appointments reflect VFAF Texas’ continued commitment to veteran-led leadership, community engagement, and advancing America First principles at the local, state, and national levels.
Andy Valadez Named National Ambassador
Andrew “Andy” Valadez, a highly accomplished U.S. Marine Corps veteran, distinguished marketing management professional, and veteran advocate, joins VFAF Texas as National Ambassador, serving under the direction of Kimberly Moyers.
A Texas A&M graduate, Valadez brings decades of experience in brand development, strategic marketing, media production, AI-driven automation, event leadership, and political and public relations initiatives. He has collaborated with national leaders, military organizations, and veteran-focused initiatives, building high-impact campaigns and expanding grassroots engagement.
His veteran empowerment work—including initiatives such as A Million Veteran Millionaires and advisory involvement with veteran chambers and long-standing veteran organizations—aligns directly with VFAF’s priorities of strong national defense, border security, veteran advocacy, and putting America first.
“Andy’s strategic vision and broadcast experience will help amplify our mission statewide and nationally,” said Kimberly Taiko Moyers. “His leadership strengthens our ability to mobilize veterans and patriotic Americans across Texas.”
Justin Schiro Recognized as Fort Bend Grassroots Leader
VFAF Texas also proudly recognizes Justin Schiro, a U.S. Army combat veteran and third-generation Fort Bend County resident, as a powerful homegrown leader advancing conservative values at the community level.
Born and raised in Sugar Land, Texas, Schiro graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School before earning a Bachelor’s degree in History with a minor in Political Science from the University of Texas at San Antonio. He later returned home to teach 8th-grade U.S. History at Garcia Middle School, his former school, instilling civic pride and constitutional principles in the next generation.
When America called during the Global War on Terror, Schiro enlisted in the United States Army, serving honorably with the 10th Mountain Division at Fort Drum, New York, and deploying to Afghanistan before returning home with an honorable discharge.
He went on to earn a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Houston–Victoria (UH Katy) and has continued his commitment to community leadership through active service within the Fort Bend County Republican Party, including roles as Precinct Chair, Precinct 4 Captain, and Political Committee Chair.
“Justin represents the very heart of Texas leadership—deep roots, battlefield-tested courage, and unwavering dedication to faith, family, and freedom,” said VFAF Texas leadership. “He knows this community because he is this community.”
Strengthening Texas Through Veteran Leadership
With the addition of Valadez at the national ambassador level and Schiro’s continued grassroots leadership in Fort Bend County, Veterans for America First Texas continues building a statewide network of battle-tested veterans and principled civic leaders committed to protecting constitutional freedoms and strengthening communities.
From the classrooms of Texas to the battlefields of Afghanistan, and from grassroots organizing to national media strategy, VFAF Texas is expanding its reach and reinforcing its mission.
Rooted in service. Proven in leadership. Ready to deliver for Texas and America.
