Veterans for America First Endorses Congressman Cory Mills
There are political endorsements, and then there are endorsements that are personal. For me, endorsing Congressman Cory Mills is personal.
I have spent much of my life serving alongside veterans and, today, working to make sure the men and women who wore our nation’s uniform have someone willing to stand beside them when they need help. Over the years, I have met plenty of elected officials who talk about supporting our veterans. Cory Mills is one of those people who backs those words with action.
Cory is a United States Army combat veteran and Bronze Star recipient who understands firsthand what service and sacrifice mean. But what has impressed me most about Cory is what he continues to do for veterans after taking off the uniform.
When veterans need someone in their corner, Cory is there. He understands that supporting our veterans and our military cannot simply be a campaign slogan or something we recognize on Veterans Day. It requires action, commitment, and the willingness to fight for the people who fought for this country.
I have personally seen Cory's commitment to veterans, and that means more to me than any political talking point ever could.
He is tough, outspoken, and unapologetic about standing up for America's military, our veterans, and the men and women who continue to defend this nation. He understands the warrior mentality because he has lived it.
More importantly, I consider Cory an outstanding man. He cares deeply about this country, he respects those who served it, and when he believes something is right, he is willing to stand his ground and fight for it.
That is why I am proud, both personally and on behalf of Veterans for America First, to give Congressman Cory Mills my full endorsement.
Our veterans deserve leaders who don't just thank them for their service—they stand with them when it matters.
Cory Mills is one of those leaders.
