VFAF Leads Effort to Raise Awareness for inland Georgia Flood Victims of Hurricane Debby After Officials Fail to Provide Aid.
Governor Kemp and state officials effectively addressed the needs of coastal Georgia following Hurricane Debby but have neglected inland victims who endured 20 inches of rain and devastating floods. Many of these victims, who lost their homes, were uninsured, according to local community leaders Holly Kesler and Linda Menk.
VFAF Veterans for Trump is a national grassroots organization building state chapters across the country. Attorney Jared Craig serves as the president of the Georgia State Chapter of Veterans for America First. The organization is deeply embedded in Georgia politics, leveraging its political network and media outreach to spotlight the inland Georgia residents who were overlooked in the aftermath of Hurricane Debby, as attention was primarily focused on coastal areas.
In an interview by Jared Craig local residents Election Integrity Activist, Linda Menk for School Board and State Director of Citizens Defending Freedom, Holly Kesler, VFAF learned about how little is being done to assist Georgia voters who have been impacted by the inland flooding caused by Hurricane Debby. Jared Craig shared how affected Georgians can contact the Georgia Emergency Management Agency (GEMA) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and request assistance as well as where donors can drop off goods for inland victims.
