Veterans for America First Invited to Greet Vice President JD Vance in Georgia

ATLANTA, GA — Veterans for America First (VFAF), also known as Veterans for Trump, was invited to participate in the welcoming of Vice President JD Vance during his visit to Georgia. Kartik Bhatt represented the national veterans organization, greeting the Vice President on the tarmac at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport on October 14, 2026.
Vice President Vance traveled to Georgia to meet with supporters as Republicans intensified their campaign activities ahead of the November 2026 midterm elections. His visit coincided with the beginning of early voting in Georgia, a closely watched battleground state with competitive statewide and congressional races.
The Vice President's Atlanta appearance came just two days before President Donald J. Trump's scheduled October 16 campaign rally in Dalton, Georgia, where Republican gubernatorial candidate Rick Jackson and U.S. Senate candidate Congressman Mike Collins were expected to join the President.
Kartik Bhatt's participation in the airport greeting reflected Veterans for America First's continued involvement in national and Georgia Republican political activities. The organization has maintained a grassroots presence in Georgia through candidate endorsements, political outreach, veterans advocacy and participation in events involving national and state Republican leaders.
VFAF representatives have participated in political events across Georgia and throughout the country, developing relationships with elected officials, candidates and grassroots organizations while promoting issues important to veterans, law enforcement personnel and military families.
The invitation to greet Vice President Vance represented another opportunity for Veterans for America First to maintain its presence at events involving senior members of the Trump administration.
