COBB COUNTY, GA — Veterans for America First (VFAF) today announced its endorsement of Andre Stafford for Georgia State House District 42, following Stafford’s official campaign launch on February 6, 2026.
Stafford’s campaign announcement emphasized the urgent need for practical, people-first leadership in Georgia, citing skyrocketing costs for housing, groceries, energy, and everyday essentials. Stafford pledged to move beyond empty slogans and deliver real results—lowering costs, protecting communities, and restoring common-sense priorities under the Gold Dome.
“Veterans for America First is proud to endorse Andre Stafford for Georgia State House District 42,” said Jared Craig, Georgia State Chapter President and National Vice President of VFAF. “Andre is stepping forward at a critical moment for Georgia families. District 42 deserves a representative who is accountable to the people—not special interests or extreme ideologies.”
Stafford currently serves in leadership within the Cobb County Republican Party as Vice Chair of Communications and Information, and is recognized locally for his community-rooted focus and commitment to grassroots engagement.
VFAF Georgia is prioritizing this race because of its direct importance to Cobb County, including the presence of Dobbins Air Reserve Base, a critical strategic and economic asset to the region and to America’s defense readiness. VFAF notes that the current Democrat representative for the seat has been associated with efforts or policy goals viewed by many local residents as threatening the future of Dobbins. VFAF’s position is clear: Dobbins must be protected, strengthened, and defended.
“This is a race Veterans for America First Georgia will be working closely on,” Craig added. “Dobbins is part of the fabric of Cobb County. Protecting it is not optional. Andre Stafford understands what’s at stake for our families, our veterans, and our community.”
VFAF Georgia will also be actively engaged through Frederic Mulika, VFAF Deputy National Operations Director, an Air Force Veteran, and a member of the Cobb County Republican Party in the district where Dobbins is located.
Stafford’s campaign has stated it will focus on grassroots engagement, door-to-door conversations, and building a broad coalition of voters ready for change.
