Veterans for America First Endorses Tori Branum for Georgia’s 12th Congressional District
Issued by Jared Craig, National Vice President, Veterans for America First
Veterans for America First proudly announces its endorsement of Tori Branum for the United States Congress in Georgia’s 12th Congressional District for the 2026 election.
Tori Branum is the embodiment of service before self. A United States Marine Corps veteran, firearms instructor, small business owner, mother, and grandmother, Branum represents the values of strength, discipline, accountability, and unwavering love of country that Veterans for America First was founded to defend.
“Tori Branum is exactly the kind of leader we need in Congress,” said Jared Craig, National Vice President of Veterans for America First. “She understands service, sacrifice, and the real needs of veterans and working families—not from a policy memo, but from lived experience. Tori doesn’t just talk about America First values—she has lived them.”
Branum served honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1996 to 2004, first as a field radio operator and later as a marksmanship instructor, where she trained fellow Marines in firearms safety, handling, and precision. Her military career included both stateside service and overseas duty, including Okinawa, Japan. Her time in uniform shaped her lifelong commitment to responsible leadership, national security, and defending constitutional freedoms.
After completing her service, Branum earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from American Military University and returned home to Georgia, where she founded Middle Georgia Female Firearms Training, an organization that has trained more than 13,000 women in handgun safety and concealed carry. Her work has empowered women across the state while reinforcing the importance of lawful, responsible Second Amendment rights.
In addition to her work as an instructor and entrepreneur, Branum has served her community as a therapist in rural Georgia, advocating for veterans, families, and underserved populations. Her commitment to service extends beyond politics and into everyday life.
In 2024, Branum ran a competitive grassroots campaign for Georgia State Senate District 20, securing 23.4% of the vote in approximately nine weeks, earning the respect of voters and establishing herself as a serious and principled leader. Recognizing that many of the challenges facing veterans require federal solutions, she announced her candidacy for Congress in Georgia’s 12th District to more effectively advocate for improved Veterans Affairs responsiveness, accountability, and access to care.
“Tori Branum understands that veterans deserve more than lip service,” Craig added. “She will be a fierce advocate for VA reform, term limits, border security, and the constitutional rights that generations of veterans fought to protect. Veterans for America First is proud to stand with her.”
Branum’s platform centers on America First principles, including strong national defense, secure borders, term limits for members of Congress, protection of the Second Amendment, and putting veterans and working families ahead of special interests. Her campaign is driven by grassroots engagement, not political insiders.
Veterans for America First believes Tori Branum brings the courage, integrity, and resolve needed to represent Georgia’s 12th District in the United States Congress and urges voters, donors, and supporters of constitutional governance to stand with her in 2026.
