Veterans for America First Texas Endorses State Representative Keresa Richardson for Re-Election in Texas House District 61

Texas — Veterans for America First Texas proudly announces its endorsement of State Representative Keresa Richardson for re-election in Texas House District 61, as declared by Kimberly Taiko Moyers, United States Navy veteran, Texas State Chapter Vice President of Veterans for America First, and National Director of Vet Force.

“As a proud American veteran advocate, I am honored to stand behind Representative Keresa Richardson,” said Moyers. “She is not just a leader—she is a beacon of America First values, a tireless champion for our veterans and their families, and a true Texas patriot whose actions inspire us all to fight harder for the future our grandchildren deserve.”

A lifelong Texan, successful entrepreneur, devoted wife, mother of three, and grandmother of five, Representative Richardson embodies the strength, faith, and resilience that define both Texas and the nation. Her commitment to service extends beyond public office—hosting missionaries, organizing community charity efforts, and drawing strength from her personal journey as a cancer survivor.

Her dedication to America’s military families is deeply personal. Her family’s proud military legacy includes the service of her grandson in the United States Marine Corps. In June 2025, Representative Richardson and her husband stood alongside their grandson at Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth as his Marine Transport Squadron “Roadrunners” achieved Full Operational Capability with its C-40A Clipper aircraft. That moment reflected her unwavering commitment to honoring those who serve and ensuring the next generation carries forward America’s strength and values.

“Representative Richardson doesn’t just talk about supporting our troops—she lives it every single day,” Moyers added.

In the Texas House, Representative Richardson has delivered strong, results-driven conservative leadership. Her legislative record reflects a steadfast commitment to life, family, and freedom:

She authored HR 787, recognizing the Texas chapters of Blue Star Mothers of America for their extraordinary service to military families.

She sponsored HB 214, protecting the privacy and safety of women and girls by ensuring facilities are designated by biological sex.

She championed HB 7, placing critical restrictions on abortion-inducing drugs, and HB 3972, requiring fetal development education in schools.

She defended parental rights through HB 4198, strengthening standards for school library materials, and co-authored HB 1655, ensuring public school employees cannot facilitate social transitioning without parental involvement.

She has supported school choice and private education protections through HJR 136, while advocating for fiscal responsibility, border security, election integrity, and meaningful property tax relief for Texas families.

“These are not just legislative actions—they are victories for life, liberty, family values, and the American Dream,” Moyers stated.

Veterans for America First Texas recognizes Representative Richardson as a fearless advocate for veterans, active-duty families, and all Texans who believe in a stronger, safer, and more prosperous state.

“Rep. Keresa Richardson is exactly the kind of leader our country needs—someone who puts America First, honors our military through action, and stands firm in the fight for our freedoms,” Moyers said. “Her grit, grace, and unwavering patriotism give us confidence in the future.”

Veterans for America First Texas urges all veterans, patriots, parents, and concerned citizens to support Representative Richardson’s re-election in 2026.

“Together, with leaders like Keresa Richardson, we will keep Texas strong, America first, and our freedoms secure for generations to come.”said Kimberly Taiko Moyers
