VFAF Backs Oklahoma Business Leader and Conservative Robert Keyes for State Senate
OKLAHOMA — August 19, 2026 — Veterans for America First (VFAF) is proud to announce its endorsement of Robert C. Keyes for Oklahoma State Senate District 24, supporting a proven Oklahoma businessman and conservative leader committed to strengthening families, supporting veterans, growing the economy, and bringing accountable leadership to the State Capitol.
Robert C. Keyes is an entrepreneur and business owner who has built multiple successful companies under the trade name Associated Industries. He started Associated Environmental Industries Corp. in 1992 as a water well and environmental drilling company. Over the years, he’s grown his business portfolio to include four offices across the central Midwest, offering services in drilling, earth-moving, construction, engineering, and geology.
His companies include:
- Associated Environmental Industries, Corp. – Drilling and construction, Norman, OK (founded 1992)
- EQUUS Environmental, LLC – Environmental engineering and consulting, Tulsa, OK (founded 2018)
- StanTech, LLC – Environmental engineering and consulting, Oklahoma City, OK (founded 1986)
- Genesis Environmental Solutions, LLC – Environmental and UST consulting, Oklahoma City, OK (founded 1989)
- ECOVAC Services, LLC – Environmental remediation services, Marietta, GA (recently acquired; founded 1995)
Beyond running his businesses, Robert serves on the Board of Directors for the National Groundwater Association, the world’s largest groundwater organization. He is the current president-elect and has spoken across the U.S. and Canada, sharing insights on groundwater and environmental issues.
Robert is also deeply involved in industry leadership in Oklahoma. He’s the last original founding member still serving on the Board of Directors of the Oklahoma Groundwater Association and has held every leadership role on the board. He chairs the Oklahoma Water Resources Board’s Contractors Advisory Council and serves on the Petroleum Storage Tank Advisory Council for the Oklahoma Corporation Commission.
With nearly fifty years in the industry, Robert has led his teams on major projects nationwide — from complex groundwater remediation at military bases and refineries to drilling large-scale water wells for cities and the EPA.
He’s also a strong advocate for small businesses and the industry as a whole, spending over twenty-five years working with lawmakers in Washington, D.C., and Oklahoma City to support legislation that protects water resources and property rights.
Robert knows firsthand the challenges and rewards of growing a small business into a thriving enterprise and enjoys connecting with fellow business owners who share that entrepreneurial spirit.
Jacqueline Capriotti, VFAF National Ambassador, issued the following statement in support of the endorsement:
“I’m proud to support Robert C. Keyes for the Oklahoma State Senate District 24. I believe he will be a strong voice for Oklahoma families, veterans, and the values that make our communities stronger.”
— Jacqueline Capriotti, VFAF National Ambassador
Veterans for America First believes Keyes' combination of private-sector experience, commitment to veterans and families, conservative principles, and record of community leadership makes him a strong choice to represent Oklahoma Senate District 24, which includes communities in Moore, south Oklahoma City, and north Norman.
VFAF encourages voters in Senate District 24 to support Robert C. Keyes and his campaign to bring principled, accountable, and effective conservative leadership to the Oklahoma State Senate.
