Congressman Hunt is a West Point graduate, combat veteran, and proven America First leader who has drawn a clear and unbreakable line in the sand for Texas: the enemy will not advance here.
Having flown 55 combat helicopter missions in defense of our nation and having endured the devastating loss of 14 brothers-in-arms, Congressman Hunt understands the true cost of freedom. Those experiences forged his unwavering commitment to America’s veterans—particularly in the fight to expand mental health resources and ensure no veteran is ever forgotten or abandoned.
A fierce defender of constitutional liberties, Congressman Hunt authored the Second Amendment Restoration Act, reaffirming that veterans and law-abiding Americans must never be stripped of their constitutional rights. He has made it clear that the Second Amendment is not negotiable and will not be surrendered to government overreach.
