VFAF Endorsement of Mark Keough for Montgomery County Texas Judge

Montgomery County, Texas — Veterans for America First (VFAF), the original 2015 Veterans for Trump grassroots movement, is proud to announce its endorsement of Judge Mark Keough for Montgomery County Judge, as delivered by Texas State Chapter Vice President Kimberly Taiko Moyers, a United States Navy veteran and longtime America First leader in Texas.

“I am thrilled and profoundly honored to enthusiastically endorse Mark Keough for Montgomery County Judge,” said Kimberly Taiko Moyers, Texas State Chapter Vice President for Veterans for America First. “Judge Keough stands as an unparalleled champion for Texas veterans—delivering more tangible support and visionary leadership than any county judge in our state. He has transformed Montgomery County into a beacon of gratitude and action for those who have served.”

Judge Keough’s record reflects consistent, measurable leadership for veterans and military families. Under his stewardship, Montgomery County advanced the development of the largest Veterans Memorial Park in Texas, a sacred and enduring tribute to America’s heroes and a place that inspires pride, reflection, and remembrance for generations. During the unprecedented challenges of COVID, Keough maintained vital county operations and ensured essential veteran services and resources remained accessible at a time when many communities across the nation were shut down.

A steadfast defender of civil liberties, faith, and veteran wellness, Judge Keough has supported Mighty Oaks programs within the district and championed an outstanding Veterans Court—a compassionate justice system designed to guide veterans experiencing mental health crises toward healing, restoration, and renewed purpose. He has expanded the Veterans Service Office, empowering veterans to receive direct, seamless assistance with VA claims and benefits. Through forward-thinking initiatives like the Thank a Veteran Program, veterans can record their DD-214 at no cost through the County Clerk’s Office and receive special identification cards that unlock meaningful discounts at participating local businesses.

Montgomery County also participates in Operation Green Light, illuminating government buildings as a visible tribute to the sacrifices of America’s veterans. Judge Keough has personally championed numerous ceremonies honoring service members and military families, including events recognizing Gold Star mothers, such as the dedication of permanent benches in the Veterans Memorial Park as symbols of enduring remembrance and gratitude.

In addition to his record of veteran-focused leadership, Judge Keough has publicly demonstrated his commitment to shared values and national strength, including delivering a powerful invocation and prayer at the historic “Save America” rally welcoming President Donald J. Trump to Montgomery County—one of the largest gatherings in the county’s history.

“Judge Keough doesn’t merely speak about supporting veterans—he acts with relentless dedication, integrity, and heart, proving time and again that he is their true ally,” Moyers added. “It is my distinct privilege and deepest honor to stand firmly beside this extraordinary friend of our veterans. Montgomery County’s heroes deserve nothing less than the continued, proven leadership of Judge Mark Keough.”

Veterans for America First calls on veterans, military families, and all patriotic citizens across Montgomery County to unite and support the re-election of Judge Mark Keough—because those who served, and the families who stood beside them, have earned leadership that delivers results.
