If you think the answer to corrupt politicians is more government control, congratulations, you’re thinking like a bureaucrat, not a patriot.
Some conservatives (who should know better) are now calling for term limits, begging Washington to protect them from the consequences of bad voting. Seriously? Since when did America First mean "please regulate my democracy"?
The truth is simple: the ultimate term limit is called VOTING.
It’s called showing up. It’s called paying attention. It’s called convincing your neighbor that sending some swamp rat back to Congress is a bad idea.
You don’t need the government to do that for you. You just need a spine.
Demanding term limits is like admitting you don’t trust yourself or your fellow Americans to make decisions anymore. It’s an emotional crutch for people who have forgotten that in this country, the power belongs to us. Not to some career staffer writing another regulation telling us who we can or can't vote for.
And let's be clear: term limits don’t "drain the swamp" they guarantee it survives.
You throw out good, battle-hardened America First fighters and guess who steps in?
Not you. Not some new fire-breathing patriot. Nope. It’s lobbyists, bureaucrats, and unelected parasites who already make up half the problem.
The second you kick out the representatives who actually stand for Faith, Family, Freedom, and the Constitution, you hand the keys right back to the same corrupt insiders we’re supposed to be dismantling.
You think the Left is going to play fair while we bench our best players every few years? They’re playing for keeps while we’re arguing about whether we should force Ted Cruz to retire becauset these are “my principles”. It’s embarrassing.
Here’s a radical thought: maybe the solution to bad politicians isn’t more rules.
Maybe it’s better voters. Maybe it’s engaged Americans who remember that voting isn't a part-time hobby, it’s the heart of self-government. Maybe if people spent half as much energy organizing locally as they do whining about term limits on Facebook, we wouldn’t even be having this conversation.
If you want real change, you don't pass more rules, you pass more ballots. You don’t outsource your civic duty to another government committee. You stand up. You fight. You vote like your country depends on it… BECAUSE IT DOES!
That’s the America First way: faith, family, freedom, and the Constitution.
Not more government babysitting. Not surrendering your voice because you think it’s just too hard to win elections.
Trust the people. Fight the Left. Keep the government out of it.
And for the love of everything sacred, stop handing Washington more power over your own future.
