Congressman Brandon Gill Named VFAF Hero of the Month – June 2025

At just 31, Rep. Brandon Gill of Texas’s 26th district has already made waves in the 119th Congress with his energetic and unapologetically conservative approach. A Dartmouth graduate and former investment banker, Gill brings fresh intensity to Capitol Hill, modeling a “muscular conservatism” that resonates with his constituents

Soon after being sworn in, he took a bold stand against what he calls “activist judges.” In March, Gill introduced articles of impeachment against U.S. District Judge James Boasberg, arguing that Boasberg had overstepped by blocking President Trump’s deportation orders. Gill rallied support from over 20 House Republicans, emphasizing his belief that judges making sweeping policy decisions outside their constitutional remit must be held accountable.

His assertiveness reflects a broader strategy: pushing back against judicial overreach and defending legislative authority. Though some veteran Republicans advocated for less confrontational reforms, Gill’s actions energized conservative voters and underscored his commitment to standing up for what he believes the American public wants .

In only a few months in office, Gill’s tough posture on activist judges and judicial accountability has won him recognition among conservative circles—and established him as a rising force in Washington’s conservative wing.

For this great work in Saving America we have named Rep. Gill Hero of the Month June 2022.

Brandon Gill served as the keynote speaker at the Texas premiere of VFAF's documentary film Border Invasion: An American Crisis.
The film’s producers, Stan Fitzgerald and Jared Craig, donated all proceeds to the Dallas Jewish Conservatives.

The powerful VFAF Veterans for America First endorsement, followed by the Trump endorsement, helped launch Brandon into his freshman seat in congress where he has done amazing work fighting back against Judges who rule on politics rather than law.
