Bernie Kerik was the 40th Police Commissioner of New York City and a national security specialist. He was nationally recognized for his service to New York City and then Mayor Rudy Guiliani during the attacks on 9/11. He served 35 years in law enforcement, and as Commissioner, he coordinated a 90% reduction in violence at Rikers Island Prison and a significant reduction in crime of all sorts in New York City, and helped navigate the city through the hell of 9/11 and afterwards wherein he lost 23 precious officers and over 3,000 fellow New Yorkers. The Commissioner could bring warring sides together and work out a mutual concession. His skills served as a confidential political advisor to several besides Guiliani, and also notably President Trump.
Bernie Kerik spent time in Georgia with the Veterans for America First Georgia State Chapter during the Vernon Jones for Governor Campaign. During that time period our team worked with the commissioner on political optics for the campaign.
