Veteran Recovery Coalition Recognized by U.S. Congress for Transformative Work Serving Veterans
Summerville, South Carolina — February 13, 2026 — The Veteran Recovery Coalition (VRC), led by Captain Robert Cornicelli, has received formal recognition from Nancy Mace, Member of Congress representing South Carolina’s First District, for its steadfast commitment to eradicating veteran homelessness, poverty, and substance dependency.
In an official letter dated February 11, 2026, Rep. Mace commended the organization’s decade-long record of service and its measurable impact on the lives of more than 2,500 veterans. The letter highlights VRC’s results-driven, veteran-centered approach and its innovative 5W case-management model, which delivers individualized and accountable support across housing stabilization, employment readiness, transportation access, and essential services.
