Lieutenant Colonel Brian Montgomery is the latter. A West Point graduate, Ranger-qualified Infantry Officer, and decorated combat veteran, Brian has spent over two decades leading from the front in some of the most demanding environments our nation has faced, including deployments to Iraq and missions supporting global stability.
Brian Montgomery represents exactly the kind of leadership our country needs right now. He understands the cost of freedom, not as a talking point, but through lived experience alongside the men and women who defend it. From commanding troops in the 82nd Airborne Division and 3rd Infantry Division to supporting humanitarian operations and strengthening alliances abroad, his record reflects discipline, accountability, and mission-first leadership.
Georgia’s 1st Congressional District is home to critical military installations and a strong veteran community. It demands a representative who will fight for our service members, protect our national security, and ensure veterans receive the care, benefits, and respect they have earned.
