Legal Career and Education: Kristen began her legal career as a state prosecuting attorney and has since dedicated much of her practice to criminal defense litigation, traffic, and DUI cases in the Hampton Roads region. She also handles family law, including divorce and estate planning. She earned her J.D. from Regent University School of Law in 2005 and holds a B.A. in Criminal Justice, cum laude, from Marshall University. She is admitted to the bar in both Florida (2005) and Virginia (2007).
Community Involvement and Recognition: Beyond her legal practice, Kristen is deeply involved in her community. She has served as President of the Chesapeake Bar Association and is a member of the Chesapeake Board of Zoning Appeals. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Atlantic Shores Christian School. Her commitment to service has been recognized with awards such as the 2022 Alpha Chi Omega National Real.Strong.Woman of Distinction Award and the 2023 CCWRC Small Business Woman Award.
Campaign Platform: Kristen's campaign is guided by the values of faith, family, and freedom. She emphasizes her commitment to representing the interests of her community and bringing a fresh perspective to the House of Delegates.
