VFAF Deputy National Communications Director Lucretia Hughes Named to NRA National Board of Directors

Atlanta, Georgia January 8, 2026 — Veterans for America First (VFAF) congratulates Lucretia Hughes, VFAF’s Deputy National Communications Director, on being named to the National Rifle Association’s (NRA) Board of Directors.

Lucretia Hughes is a grassroots leader and nationally recognized conservative media voice known for mobilizing everyday Americans to defend constitutional freedoms.

Born and raised in Commerce, Georgia, Hughes has dedicated her life to speaking truth, championing American values, and expanding civic engagement through media, activism, and community leadership.

She is the co-founder of Fallback Productions Studios, LLC, and hosts the influential show “Real News with Lucretia Hughes,” recognized for its direct, no-nonsense coverage of political and cultural issues impacting working Americans and families. Her platform has reached millions, helping drive grassroots momentum across the country.

Hughes is also President of the Lanier Tea Party Patriots and has played a significant role in Georgia’s conservative movement, earning recognition for her dedication to citizen-led activism and principled leadership. She previously ran as a Republican candidate for the Georgia House of Representatives, demonstrating her commitment to turning grassroots energy into real political action.

In addition to her media and civic leadership, Hughes has been active in the national Second Amendment community through her work educating Americans on constitutional rights and responsible firearms ownership, and she has served in multiple leadership and outreach roles supporting gun-rights advocacy.
