VFAF Ambassador Aliza Fan Dutt Named Asian Elected Official of the Year

VFAF National Ambassador Aliza Fan Dutt to Receive Texas Asian Republican Club’s “Asian Elected Official of the Year” Recognition

HOUSTON, TEXAS — September 16, 2026 — Veterans for America First (VFAF) announces that Aliza Fan Dutt, VFAF National Ambassador, is scheduled to be recognized as “Asian Elected Official of the Year” at the Texas Asian Republican Club’s annual Statesman of the Year Dinner on September 25, 2026.

According to the event announcement provided by Dutt, the recognition will take place alongside Carol McCutcheon, Mayor of Sugar Land, who is being recognized as Statesman of the Year, and Holly L. Ham, who is being recognized as Asian Volunteer of the Year.

Dutt previously served as Mayor of Piney Point Village, Texas, and currently serves as a National Ambassador for Veterans for America First.

“I’m honored to be named ‘Asian Elected Official of the Year’ by the Texas Asian Republican Club,” Dutt said in announcing the recognition. “Please join us for an evening celebrating leadership, service, and community.”

The Texas Asian Republican Club (TARC) is a Houston-area Republican organization with a history of civic and political involvement in the Asian-American community. The organization is also listed by the Fort Bend County Republican Party among area Republican clubs.

The Statesman of the Year Dinner is scheduled for Friday, September 25, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at Ocean Palace Restaurant, 11215 Bellaire Blvd., Houston, Texas 77072, according to the event announcement.
