After 15 years of serving in the military, starting several small businesses, and settling in my role as Director of Operations for Veterans for Trump, Georgia Chapter, one of the biggest lessons I’ve learned; complacency is the simplest form of sabotaging success.  If there was anything to be learned from the 2020 election, complacency wasn’t an ally.  For those of us who’ve been on the “Trump Train” from the beginning, we couldn’t have imagined any other outcome than Donald Trump being elected to a second term.  But, here we are waging war again, to get our guy in office.

The problem is, the tell-tale signs of complacency are creeping up, as are the signs that the Democrats will do ANYTHING within their power to claim the Victory.  And with the battle of South Carolina on the horizon, this is NOT the time to assume that just reposting #NeverNikki is going to clinch the win for #47.

There are multiple takes that can be had for the abysmal turnout on the Democratic side of the Presidential Primary, Feb. 3rd, 2024.  Only 131,000 voters cast a vote for Biden, roughly 3% of voters.  That’s a STEEP drop from 2020, where he garnered 540,062 votes, a staggering 16.4% of the registered voters in the South Carolina Presidential Primary.

Though, it’s easy to speculate that perhaps Biden support is waning, or even the fact that he doesn’t have a challenger of significance. Maybe voters didn’t feel the need to turn out? Sitting on the bleachers of the opposing team, I could see how this might *feel good* for us.  But, as I stated before, if we learned nothing else from 2020, COMPLACENCY isn’t our friend.  When you’ve got headlines at every turn commenting on, “Discouraging Democratic Voter Turn-Out”, or the most liberal networks in Trump’s corner all of a sudden with polling, this should trigger an alarm bell, versus “warm and fuzzies”.

Let’s look at this from a different angle.  South Carolina is one of 16 states that operate as an “Open Primary” when it comes to their primary elections.  This means, you can vote in the primary election that is not designated with your registered party affiliation.  If a Democrat or Republican wants to cast their vote for the OTHER parties’ candidate, they can do so, and Independents can vote as well.

This is a contrast to other states, that allow you to only vote for the party you’ve registered with, or at least with some restrictions.  Only 3% of voters came out for Biden, and those of us who’ve realized his mental struggles, an economy that’s suffocating its citizens financially, it should seem OBVIOUS that maybe a swath of America has come to its senses.  The only problem with this line of thinking, is that it doesn’t get to the grit, and the heart of the games the Democrats will engage in, to secure a win.

In a ploy to thwart Trump’s chances, at what the rest of us believe to be an ace in the hole, this could very well be an underlying Democratic game at play. While you might think my tinfoil hat needs adjusting, just hear me out.  A 13.4% drop in voter turn out for Biden is steep, even given a track record, we all know he can’t run on.  Though the messaging seems clear, as the DNC chair, Jaime Harrison (who calls South Carolina home) stated publicly Saturday Feb 3rd, 2024, “Nikki, just understand that South Carolina Democrats are not going to vote for you.  I want you to get that message loud and clear this morning.”

This statement might have been after an alleged barrage of texts, that went out to Democratic voters last week, urging them to take advantage of the states “Open Primary Policy”, and to skip the Democrat Primary, and instead to cast a vote for Haley during the Republican Primary, slated for February 24th, 2024.  Both Nikki Haley, and one of her donors, SFA Fund (an aligned Super PAC), have denied any involvement with the texts, though there are loud rumblings the campaign and incident are linked.

Furthermore, we can assume the plan was already in motion when she committed $4 Million for advertisement air time in South Carolina, on the SAME EVE Trump won in Iowa by 31.9 points (she only clinched 19K votes out of 110,298 cast that night).  DeSantis only beat her out by 2,335 votes, but saw the writing on the wall, and bowed out.

We also need to remember that South Carolina has had a massive influx in their population over the last 4 years, many of their new residents, coming from left leaning, northern states, who may not align with Trump’s “America First” ideologies.  It must also not be forgotten that South Carolina underwent redistricting after the 2020 census, setting a stage of control within the Democratic Party in South Carolina. Some redistricted areas were contested, and had to make its way to the Supreme Court, who ruled against the plans initially in 2021, stating it violated “The Voting Rights Act”.

The entire country should consider February 3rd, a poor showing for the incumbent Presidential Candidate, Joe Biden.  However, given the fervent nature of the Democrats, why would they leave far more than half the votes on the table?  Not to mention the notable migration INTO South Carolina from Blue States, somehow garnered fewer votes for Biden than the primaries in 2020? So where does this leave us?  As much as I want to believe “The Great Awakening” is happening among voters, my “Spidey-Sense” has been triggered instead.

The Democrats are far too silent on this, even the media outlets who’ve propped up Biden, since his days of campaigning from his basement.  You can almost smell that the Nefarious Nikki is up to something. As much as we might want to hang on every poll that puts Trump, not just the front-runner, but with a commanding lead, we must realize that just brings us right back to 2020 Election complacency.  Within those polls that are propping Trump up with an almost 30 point lead, ask yourself, how many Independents were polled? How many Democrats?  If these polls are only polling Republican’s in a state where political affiliation isn’t required, we need to know where ALL voters in ALL affiliations stand to get a realistic view of what will and can transpire on February 24th, 2024, right?

Now is not the time to let up.  The next nine months will be a marathon like we’ve never seen.  We’ll continue to have victories, while managing the fires, distractions, and propaganda spread by the Left.  We must remain vigilant, and continue to question everything.  Chad Caton, one of my mentors says often,  “Learn the game, and play it better”.  We’ve learned it, analyzed it, and now it’s time to play it better.  We aren’t subject to the “10 run rule” in little league baseball.  It should be our intent to never let up for a second, even while we’re over the finish line.

Our opponent is spineless, fearless, with billions at their disposal, and have proven they will stop at nothing, to install a talking head to continue their agenda.  The same agenda that’s put our country on the brink of ruins.  If you see a poll putting Trump ahead by 38 points, you should be disappointed its not 50 points, and keep doing the work to get there.  Once he gets a 50 point lead, lets aim for 75.  The goal shouldn’t just be to win it, but to absolutely the destroy it.  This is our Country’s future at stake.  We don’t stop, we don’t let up, and we won’t be fooled by the villains trying to destroy our home.
