Navy Veteran Nicole Rodden from Georgia Named VFAF National Ambassador

Born and raised in New York, Nicole is a second-generation American with an Ecuadorian mother and a Greek father, so she was raised speaking English, Spanish, and some Greek. She graduated from the United States Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA) with the capability of navigating unlimited tonnage vessels in any ocean. Nicole served ten years in the United States Navy Reserves while also working in the private sector; in these experiences, she’s visited and worked in over 25 countries, leading international teams and overseeing navigation, operational safety, drilling, and oil well control in the Gulf of Mexico and the Black Sea. In 2019, Nicole ran for Congress in Georgia’s 6th district and was an inaugural Fellow with Club For Growth (CFG).

During COVID-19, Nicole launched a family-, Veteran-, female-, minority-owned business called Smash My Trash in Atlanta, where she uses lessons learned while shipping and campaigning to disrupt waste management services with a new, money-saving, and sustainable approach. She never misses an opportunity to share her faith and conservative values with the men and women who have chosen to say yes to a partnership!
