Doug Meadows named President of South Carolina State Chapter of Veterans for America First and National Ambassador

VFAF SOUTH CAROLINA:

Doug Meadows named President of South Carolina State Chapter of Veterans for America First and National Ambassador - As VFAF builds its multi-state infrastructure Meadows will lead MAGA efforts in South Carolina the home base of National President Robert Cornicelli.

Doug served 12 years in the US Air Force across all three components (active duty, Air National Guard, and reserve). He started as an Aircraft Weapon Systems Specialist then transitioned into Air Transportation and logistics. He served additional duties as a Standards and Evaluation Team Member, Quality Assurance Inspector, Training Instructor, Sex Crimes Victim Advocate, Explosive Safety Representative as well as a general’ enlisted aide.

After serving, he started college at North Greenville University, later transferring to Charleston Southern University where he majored in theology and minored in political science. He was involved with veterans groups at both campuses, serving as Chairman of the North Greenville Veteran’s Association then as the first ever Secretary of Veterans Affairs in the student government at Charleston Southern, representing approximately 500 veteran and military students on campus. He is credited with erecting a permanent POW/MIA table display in the campus dining facility. Doug serves on the executive board for American Legion Post 166 in Goose Creek, SC and runs a nonprofit in which one of the missions is providing biblical guidance and counseling to veterans and current servicemembers.
